- Jacket and coat construction for women
Technical Skills:
- Zip insertion techniques- invisible, exposed, separating
- Lining and underlining garments
- Waistband and facing construction
- Sleeve variations- set-in, raglan, dolman, cap sleeve
Fit & Finishing:
- Fitting a garment to a live client
- Making fitting adjustments to complex patterns
- Professional finishing- hand stitching, pressing, quality inspection

Level 5 is where many Delight students begin to develop their own design aesthetic often drawing on Africa’s rich textile heritage. Ankara print dresses, Kitenge suits, and contemporary African womenswear are explored alongside international styles.
