Graduating is not the end of your relationship with Delight Technical College, it is the beginning of a different one. Our alumni community is one of Delight’s most powerful assets, and we actively invest in keeping it strong, connected, and mutually supportive. Here is how the Delight alumni network works and how it can support your career.

🌐 The Delight Alumni Community

Since 2018, Delight has been producing graduates across fashion, media, AI, journalism, and more. Our alumni are now working in design studios, running boutiques, operating photography businesses, producing films, working in newsrooms, and building technology companies across Kenya, East Africa, and beyond.

🤝 What the Alumni Network Offers

Professional Mentorship & Coaching:

Senior alumni and industry-active tutors provide ongoing mentorship to new graduates helping them navigate the transition from student to professional.

Networking & Industry Linkages:

Alumni events, masterclasses, and collaborative projects create regular opportunities to build and maintain professional connections.

Internship & Job Placement Support:

The Delight career services team maintains active relationships with businesses, studios, and organizations that prefer to hire Delight graduates. Alumni who are now employers often recruit directly from the Delight community.

Business Incubation & Growth Opportunities:

Graduates who want to start or scale businesses can access mentorship, advice, and connections through the Delight entrepreneur network.

Alumni Masterclasses & Spotlight Events:

We regularly invite successful alumni back to campus to share their stories, teach skills, and inspire current students. These events also create collaboration opportunities between alumni and current students.

💡 The Cycle of Community

One of the most powerful dynamics in the Delight community is the cycle of giving back. Many Delight alumni now employ other Delight students whether as interns, assistants, or full team members. This creates a self-sustaining ecosystem that grows stronger with every graduating class.

“At Delight, graduation is not the end of the journey it is the beginning of your professional chapter, and we walk with you through it.”
