Technical Skills:
- Working with delicate fabrics like lace, satin, silk, stretch fabrics
- Fitting and construction for intimate wear
- Elastic application, underwire insertion, hook-and-eye fastenings
- Sizing and grading for lingerie (differs significantly from outerwear)
Design Considerations:
- Comfort and functionality alongside aesthetics
- Skin safety fabric testing and non-irritant materials
- Colour and trim selection for intimate wear
