Proof that skill-based education knows no borders.

At Delight Technical College, students from across East and Central Africa arrive with ambition—and leave with real skills, confidence, and career paths. Here are just a few of the most inspiring international student journeys that show how Delight transforms lives:

🇺🇬 Anita from Uganda – Now a Fashion Brand Owner in Kampala

Anita joined Delight’s Fashion & Design program with a dream to create Afrocentric wear for young professionals. After graduation, she returned home, launched her label, and now employs four other graduates. Her brand has featured in local fashion showcases and is gaining a strong online following.

🇹🇿 Hamza from Tanzania – TV Producer in Dar es Salaam

Hamza studied Digital Media Production at Delight and completed an internship with a Nairobi-based content agency. Back in Tanzania, he’s now a lead producer for a youth-focused TV show, using his skills to tell stories that matter to his community.

🇷🇼 Josiane from Rwanda – Tech Entrepreneur

After completing the ICT and Business Innovation program, Josiane co-founded a mobile app for market vendors in Kigali. She credits Delight’s mentorship and business incubation support for giving her the tools to turn a tech idea into a real product.

🇸🇸 Peter from South Sudan – Peace Advocate and Youth Trainer

Coming from a post-conflict background, Peter joined Delight’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership program. Today, he works with NGOs to train young people in vocational and digital skills, helping rebuild communities through education and opportunity.

🇪🇹 Rahel from Ethiopia – Freelance Designer with Global Clients

Rahel took Delight’s CAD for Fashion Design course, combined it with her traditional Ethiopian artistry, and now works remotely with clients in Nairobi, Addis Ababa, and abroad. She proudly calls herself a “global creative with African roots.”

🇨🇩 Jean from DRC – Multilingual Media Presenter

Thanks to Delight’s Language Bridge Program and Media training, Jean went from struggling in English to becoming a French-English radio host at an online Nairobi station. He’s now a voice for Francophone youth in East Africa.

These stories are just the beginning. At Delight, every student is a success story in the making.
