🌟 What Is the Student Ambassadors Program?

Delight Technical College’s Student Ambassadors Program is a leadership and outreach initiative that empowers selected students to represent the college in their home countries and across the East and Central African region. Ambassadors act as bridges between their communities and the college, helping to inspire new students, support current learners, and promote cross-border education.

🎯 Program Objectives

• Promote Delight in schools, communities, and youth events
• Support new applicants from your country with accurate information
• Build a network of like-minded youth leaders from across Africa
• Encourage cultural exchange and inclusion on campus
• Share real student experiences through social media and outreach

🌍 Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from current students from countries like:

• Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia
• South Sudan, Somalia, DRC, Burundi
• And all others within the African Great Lakes & EAC region

You must be:

• A full-time student at Delight
• Passionate about your education and community
• Friendly, responsible, and a good communicator
• In good academic and disciplinary standing

📣 Ambassador Roles and Responsibilities

✅ Represent Delight at local school visits, education fairs, and expos
✅ Host information sessions and online Q&A chats for prospective students
✅ Create social media content (photos, short videos, blogs) about your experience
✅ Mentor new international students arriving at Delight
✅ Share feedback with the college leadership to improve student support

📝 How to Apply

1. Write a short motivation letter (200–300 words) explaining why you want to be an ambassador.
2. Include your name, country, program of study, and year.
3. Submit via email to: ambassadors@delightcollege.ac.ke
4. Deadline: Rolling intake – apply anytime during the academic year.
