📚 What Is CBET?

CBET is a training approach where the measure of success is not simply how many hours you sat in a classroom but whether you can actually DO the job. It shifts the focus from input (what you were taught) to output (what you can demonstrate).

Under CBET, every unit of learning is tied to a specific, measurable competency. You are assessed on your ability to perform real tasks to industry standards not just pass a written exam.

In our School of Tailoring, Fashion & Design, CBET means a Level 3 student is not just told how to construct a ladies’ garment they construct one, have it assessed, and refine it until it meets professional standards.
