Fashion Meets Fierceness: Marion Muthoni Channels Cruella at Delight Fashion School’s Cosplay 2025.

Cruella CosplayAmid a whirlwind of vibrant costumes and creative storytelling at Delight Fashion School’s Cosplay 2025, one designer stole the spotlight with unapologetic style and fierce flair—Marion Muthoni, who reimagined Disney’s notorious fashion diva, Cruella de Vil, in a bold and unforgettable way.

Cruella CosplayMarion, known among her peers for her edgy design aesthetic and fearless attitude, didn’t just cosplay as Cruella—she became her. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, the room shifted. Dressed in a custom-tailored monochrome ensemble that blended high fashion with punk rock influences, Marion’s Cruella was less of a villain and more of a visionary.

Her look featured a deconstructed black-and-white trench coat with exaggerated shoulders, a crimson satin corset, and thigh-high leather boots that clicked confidently across the runway. Her iconic two-toned wig was styled into a wild, voluminous mane, and her makeup—a dramatic red lip and smoky eyes—oozed rebellion and glamour.

“I didn’t want to just copy Cruella—I wanted to elevate her,” Marion said after the show. “She’s always been a symbol of chaos and couture, and I thought, what if we saw her in 2025, fresh off a fashion week runway? That’s the Cruella I brought to life.”

The audience was captivated. Cheers erupted as Marion strutted, twirled, and gave the judges an icy stare that felt straight out of a film scene. Her presentation was theatrical, confident, and dripping with attitude—a masterclass in cosplay performance.

Fellow student and event attendee Joshua Nwosu put it perfectly: “Marion didn’t just cosplay. She dominated. That wasn’t a costume—it was a statement.”

Cruella CosplayThe Cosplay 2025 event, known for celebrating creativity, culture, and character embodiment, saw a host of incredible performances this year. But Marion Muthoni’s Cruella wasn’t just a highlight—it was a showstopper.

As the fashion lights dimmed and the applause echoed through the school halls, one thing was certain: Cruella would be proud. And so would the future of fashion.
