The halls of Delight Technical College in Nairobi CBD, Kenya, were transformed into a realm where fantasy and reality collided on the enchanting evening of March 28th 2024.. The occasion? A spectacular Cosplay Fashion Show, where guests brought their favorite characters from fiction and pop culture to vibrant life.
Located along Muindi Mbingu Street, opposite Jevanjee Gardens, Delight Technical College (School of Tailoring, Fashion & Design) provided the perfect backdrop for this creative extravaganza. From the moment attendees stepped through the doors, they were immersed in a world of imagination and ingenuity.
Cosplayers from far and wide converged at the event, each embodying iconic characters with impeccable attention to detail. Among the stunning array of costumes, guests marveled at renditions of Peaky Blinders, Kitana from Mortal Kombat, a mischievous Minion, the beloved Aladdin and Jasmine, the timeless tale of Little Red Riding Hood, the dark allure of Maleficent, the haunting beauty of the Corpse Bride, and even a whimsical interpretation of Mickey Mouse. The diversity of characters showcased the boundless creativity and passion of the cosplay community.
But the spectacle didn’t stop there. In a delightful twist, attendees also paid homage to their favorite musicians, with spot-on portrayals of pop icons Rihanna and Beyonce adding a musical dimension to the event.
From meticulously crafted costumes to expertly executed makeup and accessories, each cosplayer brought their character to life with flair and authenticity. The level of dedication and craftsmanship on display was truly awe-inspiring, earning admiration and applause from fellow attendees.
