If you’ve started your studies at another accredited college in East Africa and want to continue your education at Delight Technical College in Nairobi, you’re in luck! Delight offers a credit transfer process that helps you save time and money by recognizing your prior learning.

📋 1. Check Eligibility

To transfer credits, you must:

  • Have studied at a recognized institution (in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, or South Sudan)
  • Have completed similar or equivalent courses to those offered at Delight
  • Provide official academic records

📁 2. Gather Required Documents

You’ll need to submit:

  • ✅ An official transcript from your current or former institution
  • ✅ Course descriptions or syllabus showing what you studied
  • ✅ A copy of your certificate or letter of enrollment
  • ✅ A letter of intent requesting a credit transfer
  • ✅ Your national ID or passport copy

🧑‍🏫 3. Submit to Delight’s Admissions Office

You can:

  • Email your documents to: 📧 info@delight.ac.ke
  • Or visit the college in person (opposite Jevanjee Gardens, Nairobi CBD)

The admissions team and academic board will review your application and match your completed units to the relevant courses at Delight.

⏳ 4. Wait for Credit Evaluation

This process usually takes 1–2 weeks. You’ll receive:

  • A report showing which credits are accepted
  • Guidance on what units you’ll still need to complete
  • Advice on how long your new program will take

✅ 5. Enroll and Continue Your Studies

Once your credits are approved, you can:

  • Officially join your new program at the appropriate level (e.g., skip beginner-level units)
  • Start classes in the next available intake
  • Enjoy full access to student services, support, and certifications (TVETA, NITA, or CDACC)

ℹ️ Important Notes

  • Not all credits may be transferable—Delight ensures quality and content alignment first.
  • Transfers are smoother if both institutions use competency-based training (CBET).
  • You must apply for a student pass if you’re crossing borders to study in Kenya (Delight can assist with this!).
